I admit, I'm fascinated that the venue provides hundreds of umbrellas, incl umbrella stands like the one below. For those who bring their own umbrellas, you can lock them up in the stand like above.

Our host family. And two friends. The kid in blue, kept running around saying 'Malaysia!' and the first thing we heard when we woke up in the morning was "Malaysia!"!!! He cried when they walked us to the train station to send us off the next day! Hamada san and Yumiko san (standing left, Yumiko san in orange) treated us with great hospitality and humility.
